Hi, we’re Marika and Roy — a couple lucky enough to call this beautiful corner of southern Germany home. Marika grew up in a small village on the edge of the Black Forest, while Roy, originally from London, moved here in 2001 and quickly fell in love with the landscape and relaxed way of life.

 We’re continually inspired by the nature that surrounds us — Marika enjoys discovering new trails by foot or bike and Roy captures the scenery through his landscape paintings. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing this wonderful place with you. We hope you’ll fall in love with it just as we have.

 We are delighted to welcome our guests to a beautifully restored 300-year-old winegrower’s house, just 250 meters from the lakeshore. This charming historic home has been lovingly renovated using natural, traditional building materials, offering an authentic blend of old-world character and modern comfort. Created to provide guests with a comfortable, welcoming, and relaxing environment.

 Hosting is something we truly enjoy, as it gives us the chance to meet wonderful people from all over the world and share our love for this region.
